Living in Downtown Denver, I didn’t feel like dealing with all the noise from the Halloween weekend. So, even though I work on Sunday, decided to sneak up to the cabin for a night. The weather was perfect. Tried to make a visit to my favorite tree only to be turned around by some trees that been blown over on the road. Back at the cabin, I got a fire going in the Winter Quarters and settled in for the night. Up at 2am to make my 5am start time at work ( I clocked in at 4am). A much needed night at the cabin.
Crazy to think that this was my first visit to the cabin since mid August….
Mt. Blue Sky.
At the pond in the Upper Meadows. I could spend hours here.
Tried making a visit to my favorite tree, only to be stopped by some trees that had been blown over.
Loved this scene.
Warmth. And a good place to doze off.
