Once back into Moab after our Pre Cruise Moab Wandering fun, I hitched a ride over to the local Enterprise Home City location on the South end of town where I picked up my rental for the next few days. As luck would have it, the only vehicles they had available at the time of my pick up was a 15 piece passenger van, a 2 door Charger and a 4door midsize Cadillac SUV AWD. So I got the Cadi:). I’d later come to find out that it’s the perfect vehicle for me to sleep in, fitting perfectly in the back.
Thursday being Vendor Night and for the first time, having my own booth, I decided against doing a trail run to make sure I was around to set up my booth. So since I had some time, I headed out to Dead Horse Point State Park. Last time I visited was in the Winter of 2006. Good to get back and a fun drive in the Rental Cadi:). I spent some time taking in the views with the camera.
After Dead Horse Point, I headed back to Spanish Trails Arena (headquarters for Cruise Moab 2023). I had a bit of downtime before heading over to the arena to start setting up. Making sure to park the rental Cadi right out front:). Tim had a bit to set up with Gamiviti ‘s booth and ended up moving inside, so helped out there as much as I could, then set up my booth for my Cruise Moab Posters . Vendor night this year seemed to start off slow, but then settled in to a good show. Always fun seeing all the friends and vendors that support Cruise Moab. I ended up selling most of the editioned poster that I had printed up for this years event:). A few of us lingered a bit while packing up, catching up with old friends until the arena pushed us out into the camping area.
I need to do a better job about getting pics of Vendor Night.
A fine morning for a trip up to Dead Horse Point State Park. Think the last time I was here was in the Winter of 2006.
Spent quite a bit of time soaking in the views.
La Sal’s in the distance.
Potash mines and the La Sal’s.
Views from the visitor center. Note the person in the middle right of the pic:).
Vendor night for Cruise Moab. The few pics I did manage to get anyway. They set me up with my own booth for my Cruise Moab Posters, kept pretty busy:).
Proffitt’s Resurrection Land Cruisers display of some finely built cruisers.
Hanging out with good friends afterwards:).
