Ever since a friend in Middle School handed me a copy of Larry Heck’s “Pass Patrol”travel books, I’ve been hooked on all things Outlaws. Specifically, Butch Cassidy and his “Wild Bunch”. Larry’s tales of past travels to country once roamed by Butch and his band of Outlaws captivated me.

In the years since I was given that copy of ” Pass Patrol”, and some time after graduating High School, I started planning my own adventures in search of the “Wild Bunch”. Our first “official” trip out with my local 4×4 club was back in 2004. Since then, we’ve managed to cover a good portion of past robberies and hide outs once used by the “Wild Bunch”.

I had no idea, when we set out for that first trip in 2004 that it would grow in to what it has become today. Lifelong friends and countless memories chasing Butch Cassidy and his “Wild Bunch” through out the West.
