Every few years, we head back to the San Rafael Swell. A fantastic stretch of desert just west of Green River, UT. This is actually where the Outlaws Run originated. There’s quite a bit of activity within the Swell when it comes to the Outlaws.

Act one: The trek west. Exploring the old town site of Castle Gate, where the Castle Gate payroll robbery took place and an always fun trek over Fixit Pass, deep in the San Rafael Swell.

Act two: A long beautiful hike to Sid’s Mountain Cabin.
