We made a short stop along the “Ring Road” to Fjadrargljufur Canyon. Created by the Fjadra River, the canyon is 330ft deep and about 1.2 miles long. Unfortionatly, the canyon is now closed to tourists after Justin Bieber filmed a music video there, officials worried about damage to the canyons environment as tourist flocked to the site after the music video came out.
We enjoyed a short hike along the canyon rim before continuing on.
