Finally done with work, I headed out of Denver. Other than a detour outside Fairplay, the drive South along highway 285 was typical. After a stop in Pitkin, I headed to camp along Middle Quartz Creek. Evening light was perfect. The next morning we made a run over Napoleon Pass. After a short visit to TinCup, we headed over Cumberland Pass back to Pitkin and camp. It’s hard to beat summer time in Colorado:).
Some great light for our first evening at camp. Always love the views from this camp along Middle Quartz Creek.
Some really great light. I was enjoying it and happy to be out with friends.
