Chasing the Cumbres and Toltec. Fall 2018. Act 3: The chase from the Big Horn “Y”

With the train leaving Antonito, CO at 10am, Justin and I had some time to get to the Big Horn “Y”- A split in the tracks resembling a Y, to help turn the trains around. A number of dirt roads follow the tracks around this point, making a fun way to chase the train.

We had enough time to get back to camp and limp Justin’s FJ45 down the short spur road to get to Sublette and get some pics as the train from Antonito came in.
