Once again, rode along with my pal Jeremiah ( and the rest of the gang from Proffitt’s Cruisers) for Saturdays trail ride on Hells Revenge. Always a fun day driving up and down the slickrock fins. We had a decent size group for Saturday’s ride but everyone did great with no real issues. A highlight for me was riding in the back of Jeremiahs newly built open top FJ40. Lots of fun!:).
The only downside to running Hells Revenge on on a Saturday is that it get’s busy. Especially during the time of Covid. When we arrived at the pay station to Sand Flats Saturday morning, there was already a small line to get through the fee booth. As we were leaving, the line seemed to triple in size. The trail was busy all day, especially around the popular obstacles. Hells Gate probably had the biggest crowd I’ve seen to date. With that, it’s always one of my favorites and a blast hanging out with good friends.

Starting to climb one of the many fins on Hells Revenge.
Typical scene for the trail.
Pal Mike in his nicely built FJ60 Land Cruiser.
Jeremiahs freshly built FJ40 Land Cruiser- dubbed the “EMP-40”.
Joe in his buggy climbing up Hells Gate.
Randy’s turn in his newly built Toyota buggy.
Randy again.
Ended up taking a few shots of the EMP-40. Seemed right at home on the slickrock.

The milder of the “Hot Tubs”.
Always a steep drop. When coming to the edge of the drop, you line your tires up with lines that have been marked on the slick rock since you can’t see over your hood.
Randy on the Escalator.

My favorite shot of the EMP-40.
End.
