2022 would mark 25 years for my clubs (Rising Sun 4×4 Club of Colorado) annual Cruise Moab event. Based in Moab, Utah, the event offers participants three day’s of guided trail rides over many of the trail in and around Moab. Plus a vendor night and big dinner and raffle. My first time attending Cruise Moab was 2002 in my old 1987 Toyota 4runner. I picked some trails after watching Rick Russel’s “Off Highway Adventure Series” and I was hooked. I wasn’t even 21 then, but made some life long friends.
For some time now, we’ve been heading out to Moab and the desert a few days before Cruise Moab to enjoy some time out exploring and enjoying the company of good friends. This year, we spent a few days exploring the Delores Triangle area, along with a run over Dome Plateau. Mid week I tagged along with some friends to pre run Poison Spider Mesa. The event itself was a blast. I rode along for a few trail rides to take pics and hang with friends. Then Saturday checked out the April Action Car Show. A long time car show that fills up city park in Moab.
Always a fun week, and a great way to kick off the wheeling season.
