Cruise Moab 2022. Act 4: Wipe Out Hill

My pal Tim has been leading Wipe Out Hill fir some time. Think the first time we pre ran the trail was back in 2005. Our pal Dave (Red Fox) had some GPS coordinates ( didn’t really help) and we set out. Since then, Wipe Out Hill has been a staple of Cruise Moab, With my pal Tim leading it every Friday. One year, our good friend Bill broke a rear third member on his 1st generation Toyota 4runner- during a flash flood. The next year, the upper control arm on my passenger front pulled a section of frame apart. We ended up welding it back together on the trail.

It’s been a few years since I ran Wipe Out Hill. So it was great to tag along this year. Being Wipe Out Hill (seems somebody always breaks), our good pal Lee (from Georgia) ended up breaking a rear axle on his 200 series Land Cruiser. It was fun watching everyone come together and help Lee get off the obstacle. He was able to drive out under his own power, but had to leave the rig in town to get fixed.

As always, a great day on Wipe Out Hill, filled with good company:)
