For the 4th of July weekend, a group of us headed out to the Henry Mountains. A most wonderful Desert Mountain Range located outside Hanksville, UT. I found it hard to believe that 10 years ( to the date) had gone by since my last visit into the lone mountain range. This trip turned out to be a most enjoyable one, probably one of my favorite of the summer. Spending time with good friends was just what I needed. It was a pretty laid back trip with no real agenda. Our evening hike up to Mt. Ellan was definitely a highlight of the trip.
